Shorooq is analogous to the story of the UAE—growing from a compelling, inspiring idea, into a formidable global force.

Built on our founders' shared experiences and their recognition of the potential that arises when great ideas and founders are connected with innovative investment approaches, Shorooq was created to unlock the potential of new ideas and businesses in the MENA region.

We have grown our assets under management from $2 million to around half a billion dollars since our founding in 2017. We have done so through developing and proving our investment playbook in emerging markets.

We continue to be a change agent, provocateur, and innovator in the technology ecosystem in the MENA.

Through our multi-dimensional asset management strategy, Shorooq is the gateway to the MENA region for global investors.
